X-Chair v2.4 Mostly Done

I managed to get all the wood ripped to the right widths. Taking the time to build a proper jig for the table saw helped out loads.

I assembled the pieces only to discover that I didn’t cut the seat board bevels quite short enough.  They are all sitting around an inch out of flat. It was probably meant to be, as I have decided to replace the wooden dowel with a metal one. Due to a cutting error one the legs is narrower than the 3/4″ I was going for, so I decided to try using a thinner dowel. I am know thinking the 5/16th dowel will be to weak for my fat ass.

Learning a but load of stuff from this project.
