Chest V1.1 & Milk Paint Experiment

Got a bit more done on the Skid wood chest.  I now have the two ends done, and a front panel.
I have ran out of the ripped slats, and will have to rip a whole slew more tomorrow.
Thinking I will dado the bottom board and recess the front and back panels.
Saw a similar design on Blood & Sawdust, and thought it would be a more interesting design then my normal design.

I also got to play with milk paint today. Much experimenting will be needed,
but I did get a usable paint with turmeric.
Bright yellow, but more a stain consistency than paint.

I have also been playing around with the red sawdust I have from my x-chair experiment.
Planning to take a couple of samples and try using the centrifuge at work to see if I can get
even more pigment out of the wood. Fun
