Had a bit of a free day in the shop. I have a whole lot of scarpage needing done on the hutch chest, but I am holding of till I buy a new scrapper from lee Valley. I also need to build a lock for the hutch, and that still in the design mulling stage. So Free Day…Woot.

I still have a but load of scrap skids kicking around, so I thought I would give a shot at cooperage.

I know nothing about cooperage, other than the edges of the wooden boards are sloped. That and there is a dado near the bottom of the boards to except a bottom board. With that tiny bit of knowledge I played.
