Tir Righ Spring Coronet 2009

Tir Righ Spring Coronet 2009 has come and gone, and I the better for it.

I got to see three of my aprenti sisters brought before the court. Margaret was entered into the Order of the Grey Goose Shaft (Archery).  Mariko was given her long over due Jambe de Leon (A&S). Morweena was given a long over due rest, as she stepped down from principality Archers office.

I had great discussions with Mistress Sunjan (Yurt Goddess), Mistress Mersigha (persona wonk), and Adam Fairamay (Woodworking merchant)

I drank a share of Ulliam’s mundane award winning Irish Red Ale (soo good)

Had my head swollen a half dozen sizes from the praises received on the rope bed, and mini yurt. I have been asked to post a more thorough account of how to build a mini-yurt for next to nothing.

And best of all I was inspired by Sir Master Geoffrey de Rennes’s awesome folding shelving unit (post to follow), and a centerpole pavilion sans centerpole.

I wish more events were as satisfying.

Centerpole pavilion without a centerpole. Also has a great window.

Shelving unit that is getting me inspired to build an ambury with similar workings.
