I have been thinking about entering something in the Tir Righ A&S championship. Just a single entry as I really have no interest in being champion. It would be flattering, but I just don’t have the desire to win… I’ll leave it to other hungry artisans. I just don’t know where to start, so I [...]
Thorgeir Ingvarsson makes these wonderful rawhide lanterns. I didn’t see one aglow at night, but I am certain that the rawhide screen would give any candle a wonderful glow. Really makes me want to play with rawhide.
Thorgeir Ingvarsson runs a merchants shop at events called Thor’s Gear. He goes that extra mile to make his [...]

I am thinking of taking him to Investiture this weekend.

The deadline for the tent is drawing near. I still have a bunch of stuff to do, and only a couple of days to do it.
I started in on the carving. Carving has never been my forte, but it is a fairly simple pattern…
The carving is finished. I am not overly happy with the finished [...]
Its my nephews 3rd birthday coming up in ~ 2 weeks time. I decided to make him a Norse tent to play in.
Image heavy post follows
When to SYGC on Saturday. I was introducing my two pod casting cohorts into just what was this weird SCA thing I did.
Opening court, where Baroness Caitrin informed us that she was the autocrat (as the real autocrat was rushed to the hospital the night before). Wielding even more power in her iron grasp.
I love [...]
