Bedouin Tent v1.1 Bedouin Sausage Roll

Not much done today on the tent front. I had an adorable 3yr old hindering… er ….. helping me. Everything took at least four times longer than it should have.

Its so important to roll the edges into a tight little sausage when trying to sew the roof tension band because….

Otherwise it doesn’t fit underneath the sewing machine.

I arranged the roof band alignment by using my three fingers along the edge of the middle seam to maintain even placement.

I also got my wood arranged for the wooded dowels that go in the end of the tensioning bands.

    Don’t get discouraged if the tents edge has waves in it the first time you set up your tent. I left mine up for a few days, constantly retightening the tent, and all the weirdness stretched away.
