Turkish Garb v1.2 Entari

The one good side to having broken ribs, is I have a lot of down time. Normally I live out in the shop just puttering around listening to CKNW. Since shop life is depressing without the abilty to pick up a tool, I have spent the time watching old movies and hand sewing my turkish entari.

I have had patchy internet for the last little while so I don’t have pictures to the build. Entari is made with a plum cotton outer, with a pretty green linen. Mistress Agnes pointed out the green as a good match for the plum. Good thing as my sense of color matching is questionable at best.

I used the same pattern I made for the chirka, just extending out the lines till it was lower calf lenght.

Just have to make a better hat, replace the salvar with linen, make proper underwear & stockings, and possible a heavy outercoat (not sure I need this as I am normal too hot) and I’ll have one good set of turkish garb.

  1. Wow this is amazing. I really like how it looks. I am going to get some patterns for Turkish clothing and make a few things for myself and my modeling partners. Thanks for the idea.
