New Old Loom

Got me a new toy today.

a 24″ 4 shaft Leclerc loom. Chewed the lady down enough to cover the cost of a reed as it is missing that one part. The best part of that is…I have plans on trying to make my own using only stuff from my shop.

New project = Win.

New Play toy for $50 = Uber Win

Yes Mistress Agnes, that means my other loom will once again be available for your evil plans.

*** Update***  The lady I bought the loom from phoned me up and said she had looked around and found the reed. I tried to paid her the amount I chewed her down, and she said she was just happy to have the loom out of her small apartment.  WOOT!

  1. Love your loom. I’ve never seen a “Dorothy” with the levers on the front. Cool.

  2. Thats because I don’t think it is a Dorothy. Having surfed the leclerc site, I suspect I have a Medico loom. Its the same as the now defunct Mico loom with the only difference being the levers are bent to 90′, Either way Score! That and the lady who sold me the loom called me back to tell me she had found the reed and reed holder. I offered to pay her the rest of the money I chewed her down on, and she just seemed happy it was out of her small apartment. Woot!

  3. aaahhhh… I’ve never seen an Medico til now. Great deal on getting the reed and beater. Warp on!!!!
