Baroness’ Birthday tourney took place yesterday. It was a smallish event, but still covered all the basics. I am broke beyond all measure this month. I have had to use what I have inside the fabric stash to work on my Turkish garb. Hence the somewhat nasty green/gold sari material shalvar.  Since I will be making nicer ones once I am back in the black, I have used elastic in this pair.

The tent was debued at SYGC this weekend. I forgot to cut the center poles done to size.  Instead of 6′6″ center, It had  whopping 8′ center poles. Made it look more like a roman wall tent than bedouin,

I finished the Bedouin tent tonight. My hands ache, and I can’t sleep. I am chomping at the bit to try it out. To figure out what I did right, and what I most definitely did wrong. Tomorrow will not come soon enough!

Not much done today on the tent front. I had an adorable 3yr old hindering… er ….. helping me. Everything took at least four times longer than it should have.
