It was a smallish event, but still covered all the basics. Rapier, and Heavy fighting, A&S contests, dancing, feasting, drinking, court, and merchant row. I ran a small merchanting booth selling wooden goodes (turned stuff and furniture). Since I spent most of my time merchanting, and hanging out with good people, I didn’t take as many images as I normally would… still I think I covered a bit.

8-9 merchants  set up shop this time. Goods ranging from garb, thread, and hats, to books, chests, and spools.

This is my little shop. The big item to go fast this time was simple wooden spools. I will have to make up a whole slew next time  merchant. Neither the yurt or bedioun tent went, but the folding 16th century stool went for a trade with sister apprentice Alienor for three Henry Taylor carving tools and a bunch of other misc. tools. I think I made out like a bandit. Just the HT tools are worth over a 100$ new…woot.

This is me with the helm I made over a decade ago. I had no idea what I was doing when I made the helm. The jaw is way to pronounced landing the affectionate nickname I gave it “Monkey Jaw”. I am embarrassed at just how bad the weld job i did on the grill. I’ll post an item on this helm in a few days.

Eleanor was made Caitrin’s Arts Champion , shortly before I was called up for the Science Champion. I am secretly thrilled. I don’t covet awards, but I just have this thing for anything labeled science. Caitrin has A&S champions that secretly want to destroy the universe. This might be a bad sign.

I am thinking of making the red and yellow polka dot kaften out of the hideous material…but I am being encouraged to use it as a lining…
